(Onda Newspaper, 24/11/10) – Pulitzer is a 4-stars boutique hotel, which is luminous and has an atmosphere which radiates freshness and a certain cosmopolitan cool.

It is located in a historic building remodelled in 2004 and it has been completely furbished using the latest technology and avant-garde materials.

Far from being a hotel standard, the ground floor is full of details which give it personality, such as the barroc style Sicilian alter converted into a reception desk, the fireplaces which reinforce the feeling of the a group of small living spaces united in the lobby, the large contemporary works on the walls or the spectacular oversize floral arrangements which give the space a colourful and fresh feeling.

Everything was set with the condition that the space shouldn’t look or feel like a hotel, moreover he was encouraged to create non standard elements and move away from traditional hotel design.

It has one double queen or twin beds. Bathroom with gray marble with shower or bathtub and special amenities. You will feel at home.

Hotel Pulitzer offers 5 Superior rooms. These spacious rooms (22m2 approx) are sumptuously decorated and give a personal touch to the atmosphere.

Conceived as an apartment, the suite also echoes the characteristics of the Pulitzer; light and cosmopolitan air. It has a bed with canopy in the centre of the room and is surrounded by everything to make the guest’s stay more comfortable and enjoyable: built in wardrobes, leather sofa, a comfortable designer armchair, fireplace, library with the latest music system, minibar and work table….

The decor, the books and works of art create a very personalized atmosphere very distant from the typical hotel cliché suite. The private sun terrace is walled to provide the utmost privacy and has wooden floors and furniture, loungers, a sunshade and a shower to provide welcome relief after sun bathing. The sober and luxury feel of the suite is also reflected in the bathroom, an authentic temple to relaxation, thanks to the invigorating natural light, hydro massage bath and aromatic oils….

Restaurant
One of the Hotel Pulitzer’s main draws is the Visit restaurant, situated in one of the most special corners of the hotel, a converted greenhouse with one glass fronted wall which faces on to a delightful interior garden where you can have a quiet lunch.

Visit Restaurant is a urban oasis in the centre of Barcelona which fuses Mediterranean with chef’s personal touches. The results are appetizing and healthy dishes prepared with the seasons ingredients.

It offers, each week, a lunch menu: 18€, to choose between 6 starters, 6 main courses and 6 deserts.
